Horse meat dishes in Bamberg? |

| Just saw on the TV (Morgenmagazin) this morning that meat consumption in this country has doubled from 30 kg per year per capita to 60 kg. I've forgotten what time frame this is though -- how long ago it was that the average German ate only 30 kg a year. And the price of meat in terms of hours of work for the average German has also dropped over the decades, due to the industrialisation of farming and everything. |
