A few further details: 27% of health department inspections resulted in citations of various degrees. 222 of them have to do with faulty or missing labeling. 111 cases have to do with the formulation and condition of ingredients. The cases of the three closures have to do with pest infestation, mold/mildew, or considerable contamination of equipment. The breweries can not be named due to legal restrictions. Consumer protection advocates have been campaigning for public transparency in such cases for a long time. |
