I never heard of a Kommunbrauerei in Moosbach. But I have found an article (in German) http://www.oberpfalznetz.de/onetz/2738064-127,1,0.html with the information that peoples from Moosbach are members of the community of brewers in Eslarn. Moosbach and Eslarn are adjacent villages, 8 kms apart. More about the Kommunbrauerei Eslarn (in German): http://www.echte-kommunbrauer.de/lne/LightNEasy.php?page=eslarn beer speciality: "Rebhuhn-Zoigl" ("partridge zoigl") brewed with - spelt, - Emmer (an old type of wheat) http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmer_%28Getreide%29 and Einkorn http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einkorn The name "Rebhuhn-Zoigl" describes that these grains are survival foods of the partridges. |
