OT: Smithwick's Pale Ale - Amarillo Hops? |

Apologies for missing out the OT - this is the only forum that I subscribe to, so you've got to expect mistakes - occasionally. The geography and demographics are correct, there's as much chance of finding a decent drink locally as persuading Tesco to lower the price of their products. Incidentally, they have now stopped stocking either Duvel or Chimay. I think this is called a pyrrhic victory. All Roger Protz said was true but he should have mentioned the later history of IPA in England. Re Brewdog: checked the site - are these people some kind of loonies? Why are they attacking Camra? If it wasn't for them, there would be probably no real ale in Britain. This may not worry some but it is part of our heritage and we like it! Very OT: some may have noticed that my football team had a rather good win yesterday! |
