Need help with intinerary (Goslar->Leipzig->Home)

hi all, already starting to plan my christmas getaway and i'm happy to say this time it's Goslar's turn! will be in Goslar for a week, and then directly to Leipzig for five days, probably. i'm taking the train to Goslar from NL-DE border station (4hrs), and am also taking to train to Leipzig (2hrs from Goslar). i would rather fly LEJ-DUS but Air Berlin and German Wings don't flight directly between these two cities. i think Lufthansa does... or, i could forgo Leipzig and take the train back. could anyone suggest an interesting route involving beer? the route must lead west to NL of course. thanks much! (Bamberg will always have a special place in my cold heart though ;) )
