Nice weekend...viel Spaß!

Short report about our latest beer walk. We started at Schwanen-Bräu, Ebing: Wonderful full bodied dark Vollbier with an amazing amount of hops, well balanced, perfect quality, delicious! Next station - Brauerei zum Goldenen Adler, Höfen: At Höfen was Kärwa, so it was really difficult to get space for our group of eight people. I'd suggest, there must have been 300 to 400 guests inside and outside of the Wirtschaft. Superb food as everyone knows. We split into pairs and simply sat down where it was possible. Typical dark Vollbier, very malty and pleasant. Third station - Brauerei Fischer, Freudeneck: Completely different beer style. Helles Vollbier, low in carbonic acid, high in hops. Perfect for such a hot walking day, though it was too 'pilsy' for some of our group. Nick might have loved it. Fourth station: Ebing again, where we slept. But before, we finished the day with some more Schwanen-Bräu beers. Really amazing beer. Spicy, malty, hoppy at the same time. All in all a short but perfect beer day! Cheers Jürgen
