Barry Reporting!

Well after getting a phone number sorted, we finally got to meet up yesterday. Unfortunately the connexion for the S-Bahn and Regional Express from Bamberg to Bus 265 is only quick at 12:30, so Barry and Missus had to wait a while in Forchheim, the poor things. Roppelt's Kellerbier was not as good yesterday as it was on Friday --gassier than normal, not as hoppy, but still better than it was a couple of weeks ago-- but the Lieberth up on the Kreuzberg was better than I recall ever having had it. Then again, that was after a really bland Rittmayer Landbier. They appear to have correctly assessed the order of goodness of the four Keller(s) too. Was a splendid day all in all, even though I drank too much. No, really! And who knew you can make your own chip butty at Lieberth's Keller!
