Upcoming July trip

Since it appears there are more than one of us converging on Bamberg in July I figured I post my plans up here in case anyone would like to meet up for any of this. 1. Start out in Bamberg Friday the 8th until Tuesday the 12th with friends from Hamburg (the Fisheaters as one local in Mahrs referred to them last year). No absolute plans on these days other than targeting Witzgall Keller for that Sunday the 14th. We are seriously considering a Friday night excursion though to Appendorf to check out the Brauerei there and maybe catch some live music. Maybe Merkendorf or (Dorfliens, Hallstadt and Kemmern) on Saturday. Gerhard you'll see us pop into Cafe Abseits once or twice probably around lunchtime. 2. I set out on my on for a few days to do a lot of walking starting with Willersdorf/Kreuzberg Kellers on Tuesday the 12th. 3. Hochstahl on Wednesday the 13th staying at Reichhold. Looking to visit Kathi Brau, Schroll in Nankendorf, Krug in Breitenlesau, maybe even Waischenfeld if my legs will carry me that far. 4. Ebermannstadt on Thursday the 14th. Hoping to get to Meister in Unterzaunsbach, Penning-Zeissler in Hetzelsdorf, Nikl-Brau in Pretzfeld, Pretzfelder Keller, etc. 5. Geisfeld on Friday the 15th. Griess Keller most important but will also visit Sauer in Rossdorf and maybe Krug in Geisfeld. 6. Touring with Juergen on Saturday the 16th. Staying in a nice looking hotel near Vestenberg. 7. Burgebrach on Sunday the 17th. Hermann's Keller, Max Keller, Schwanenekeller, Hirschkeller, and who knows what else. 8. Then I dissapear for 3 days. Going to pick up my daughter and friend in Schweiz and do a bit of a tour of Bavaria. Looking forward to staying at Josef Schneider in Essing. 9. Back to Bamberg on the Thursday the 21st for the last 4 days. Grand finally is the first two days of Annafest on 23rd/24th. Weather could change things of course for some of those days. I won't be staying in Ebermannstadt or Burgebrach for instance if it looks like it's going to down and out pour all day. In that case I'll just fall back to Bamberg and cough up the dough for a hotel room. I'm renting a car the whole way to get from point A to point B and of course parking at the hotel before each day's walking and drinking session commences. I look forward to meeting up with some of you finally on this trip and touring with Juergen again.
