Good luck actually snagging a 39€ fare though! There've been *3* fires in the tunnel over the years? How in the heck does a fire break out in there--these are electric trains. Wiki says the new high speed stretch from Köln to Brüssel opened in December, and takes 1h51m. I'd like to take that someday...Thalys...yuck!
