There is no Braumeister at Ambräusianum -- Ambros, the owner, does the brewing. My understanding is there is a "loophole" in the German? (Bavarian? I don't know at which level is is controlled) law that allows for an owner/operated brewery, instead of a "certified" braumeister. BTW, the Weizen at Ambräusianum is quite nice and very non-American (though its been a year since I've had it), I've heard knowledge locals say it is often the best Weizenbier made in Bamberg... And just a side note: the language of this board is English. If you are quoting somebody then fine, but otherwise folks -- please post in English. Thanks. |
