Little Venice?

Hello again... I'm so glad I found this site, sooooo much information! I've written to the brewpubs/guesthouses but meanwhile, following links from The Beer Drinker's Guide to Bamberg, I found a cute little apartment in Little Venice for around the same price. I'm a little concerned about the area, though -- does anyone know how far is this part of town from the breweries & other attractions of Bamberg? The rental's website says this: "...in the heart of Bamberg. Silent location with view of the Michaelskirche. Most sights, museums, the theater and the music-hall are within walking distance." Does that sound right? Or might this place turn out to be prohibitively inconvenient? I like to walk & am an able-bodied chick but on the other hand, I'd hate for everything to be a haul while I'm in town. Thanks! Carolyn
