Bike newbie seeks advice |

I'm planning to get out into the country for my next visit, in September. On the web there are many well documented cycle routes, taking in breweries and/or kellers. So, I'm thinking about maybe hiring a bike for a couple of days. As I haven't ridden a bike since I was a teenager, how easy and safe is it for a cycle newbie in Franconia? * Are there distinct cycle paths, or would I be amongst the traffic? * Can I be arrested for drunk-driving? I don't cycle in the UK as, apart from a few towns that have cycle paths, it can be dangerous. Obviously, in countries such as Germany and Holland things are different. Mike Thanks Mike |
