Price of a 1/2 liter?

In Bamberg itself you would normally pay around € 1,90 - 2,10 for half a litre of Lager, Helles or Märzen, maybe € 2,20 for a Weizen and the bockbeers will be 2,40 - 2,50. Outside the city you will pay less, like € 1,70 for the standard beers up to 2,30 for a Bock. In Bamberg it is still possible to get a main course and a half litre of beer for less than € 10,-. Outside the city it is sometimes even possible also to get a small starter like soup and still not exceed that amount of money by more than a few cents.
