Bayern Tickets/railpasses

I've just been looking through the DB website to see if I could find details of any railpasses and came across the Bayern Ticket which gives one days unlimited travel on local trains until 3am the next day. It also says it is valid on the "entire transport system in Bavaria". Anyone know exactly what this covers, does it include the buses in and around Bamberg? Anyone know of any other rail or bus passes available for Franken, preferably ones I could buy in Germany. I will be in Bamberg in under two weeks so don't realy want to have to rely on the "wonderful" British postal system.
