Ungespundetes vs Kellerbier |

| I get the feeling the term Ungespundetes may just be a code word for "less carbonated." Spezial has a nice Ungespundetes but it is served via CO2 from stainless serving tanks in the basement. It is a little misleading because the tap in the pub is inset into an old wooden keg, but that's just for show. The Brits have CAMRA to keep everybody on the straight and narrow. There (sadly) is no equivalent German (or Franconian) organization. |
