" There are differences between the beers from brewery to brewery, but these are fairly large "Modern" breweries so the product is fairly consistent from week to week. There are blips -- like when Füchschen switched to hop extract. In Bamberg (and surrounding area) I have noticed there sometimes is a small drop in quality during the summer. I was told many places shorten the lagering time to squeeze in a bit more throughput. And events like Sandkerwa (and I'd guess Annafest for those breweries) provide a huge boost to the bottom like but take a *lot* of beer!
