| Small price to pay for not having to mess about with checked in baggage but it's everyone's personal choice. Having spent an awful lot of time flying around Europe for work etc., I've learned to travel very light, lessons that I've passed on to a, at first, rather reluctant J. The other thing is that such ancilliary garments are very cheap; often we've just chucked stuff away and bought new - cheaper than paying for checked in baggage. Air Berlin v Ryanair: it's interesting that AB are possibly dispensing with NUE as a cost cutting measure at the time when RY are starting flying in there. I do hope that they don't scrap MMN, because the town have invested a fair bit in the terminal. U imagine that it's really difficult doing business with RY but some people seem to make it work. I think that you have to see their operations as just part of a bigger picture - after all, no one expects to make a profit when building a road, it's a necessary infrastructural investment. |
