| I hope to get out there one of these days. Does he brew the top-fermented beers on his system or contract them out? Their website states that they "take their malt from a nearby private malting." Any idea who's the source? Evidently the brewery has gone through some significant changes since their founding in 1850, including a period where nothing was operational and things were looking rather bleak. Assessing from the clean-looking website and more modernized label design, the Martins have infused some fresh life back into the place since aquiring the brewery in 2007. Good for them! |
