| I had thought about that Barry (great minds etc) and it may well be a last resort or be useful in other instances. Though I won't have any proof of address with my parents address either plus I'm not going to be in France for some time. As for a EHIC, as a citizen of Jersey (though I have an EU passport), we are not part of the EU, EEA or EEC and we do not have any recipricol arrangements for health or social cover. So if I run out of money I will be entitled to nothing. I will also need health insurance pdq. Which is fine, becuase I haven't paid into the social system yet. As I say I am entitled to work as I have a British (and EU) passport. It is possible to have a Jersey passport where you have no grandparents or parents born outside of Jersey - in that instance you would need a Visa to work in the EU. |
