I don't know what to tell you Nick. I went to the Augustiner keller I ordered a helles from the waitress. I watched it get gravity poured out of a barrel. I drank it and I really liked the goddamned thing. So I ordered another then another. Not to mention I thought the place was beautiful. Was it the Hell or the Edelstoff? I don't know, I don't care. I will go back when I'm in Munich again. "If it were US-brewed, it would be derided for being bland, industrial swill." Well then it would be by far the best bland, industrial, American swill that I've ever tasted. |
