Baylor, http://www.blogger.com/profile/10757531658514051905 one of the owners of the New Albanian Brewing Company in New Albany (Indiana), has visited Bamberg together with his husband Bamberg from xmas-time 2009 to New Year 2010. He has written an article about the Café Abseits in his blog: http://potablecurmudgeon.blogspot.de/2010/01/i-have-no-excuse-plausible-or-otherwise.html Maybe it is possible to ask him about his experiences in this time of the year. In Bamberg-City it isn't a problem to find enough pubs/brewpubs/restaurants (apart from the 24th December). But if You make tours through the country You should watch out of the opening times. Many family-owned breweries and brewpubs has closed some days. They need time for their family. |
