| As Gerhard says, the Bockbieranstiche in Bamberg can be insanely packed with people. I recall the time I went to Greifenklau's. I was staying at the Ibis, and I got a taxi to take me up the hill to Greifenklau. In the taxi, I could hear the radio calls from the taxi service, and 9 out of 10 were for taxis to or from Laurenziplatz. Still, I enjoy visiting Bockbieranstich, and have been to a quite a few. If you don't like the crowds, you can try to go in the afternoon, if allowed, before the crowds arrive for the evening. |
