And there is the old bierkeller.by, now bierfranken.eu, which has a very comprehensive listing of breweries and bier gardens < http://www.bierfranken.eu/biergaerten.php > clickable by region and then name, though IMO their interactive map ain't the greatest. These, in combination with Mike's mention of the vgn.de and < http://www.haltestellen-suche.de/ > should get one around pretty well.
