The CREW AleWerkstatt GmbH of Mario Hanel and Timm Schnigula in Munich likes the brewing of ale. They hung their jobs to the nail and headed to the beer brewing. Their first product "CREW Pale Ale" is a top-fermented beer with 40 IBU and 5.6% vol. alc. Used were the hops Hercules, Nelson Sauvin, Chinook, Cascade and Citra. I have talked with one of the young entrepreneur about their price policy (The price is comparatively moderate. 20 bottles of 0.33 liters cost € 24.90 plus shipping and deposit. An other German (FritzAle) brews beers of american styles but sell his beer with high prices). The Munich said, that they don't want to sell in a small niche market with too high prices, but they want to sell volume in pubs. Please write to us how it tastes to you. |
