Bärlauch can be very nice indeed, esp. in sauces. The latin name is Allium ursinum. In Dutch daslook or berelook. Did not know about it's use in the kitchen before I came to Franconia, although my sister who lives in Switzerland (German speaking part) did - but then she did not know the Dutch name!
