| I wonder if you'd be able to take a train from Switzerland to just over the border (such as Singen)? I mention this because I know renting a car in Switzerland is ridiculously expensive. Last July (and I'll be doing it again this July) I saved about $500 simply by taking the 1 hour train ride from Zurich to Singen and picking up the car there at the bahnhof. Of course if the strike prevents you from even doing that then it doesn't help. |
