| Used a 2 zone 7-day mobicard last September. There is no problem in using a mobicard within the city. We often used it within the city, i.e. ZOB to BHF, and many similar short hops. We found the zone system a bit complicated (even the girl ion the ZOB office, who spoke excellent English) was hard pressed to explain it. But, essentially, I think that you are correct in saying that you can use it everywhere within the city, and within Zones 1 to 3. Nick, I think that you are pretty expert on the use of these cards? Incidentally, we never found that one of the drivers was remotely interested in looking at the card - at the ZOB, passengers usually board via any of the bus entrances/exits. I assume that there must an efficient inspection service though U can't recall encountering this. |
