I don't "tweet" much -- the signal to noise ratio has gome too much in the wrong direction :) Franconian Bocks so far... Schenkerla -- very nice, better than the last two years. Keesmann -- as always, very nice Mahrs -- I would have liked it better with a bit more bitterness but otherwise good. Weiherer -- very good, a nice balance of malt & hops. Benediktator (from the FBM celebration) -- maybe the best bock I've ever had. Fischer Greuth -- good, but a bit of diacetyl at the end. Hausbräu Stegaurach -- fine, but not a fair sampling because it was at the end and I'm sure my taste buds were overwhelmed. Honorable mention: Richter Brewery, a/k/a Pivoar u Bulokvy in the Liben district of Prague (do not miss this brewery on Tram line 14 if you go to Prague). Hope to get to Griefenklau to taste their new amber lager, but don't know if there will be time as they close early on Sunday. Off to Düsseldorf on Monday (for Sticke on Tuesday).
