| Hi, I'm Sergio, from Brescia,Italy. For the second consecutive year I'll be on a climbing/beer haunting trip in the Franconian countryside from 4/1/2009 to 4/12/2009. I'll stay in Prullsbirkig (sorry for the Umlaut but I've got a notebook) near Pottenstein. I want to ask you if you could recommend me some breweries in the area. Some specifications: I'm intrested in small, rural, remote, oldfashioned breweries. I don't like Weizen at all, i like a lot Pils BUT when I'm in Franconia I prefer to focus on my favourite style: Landbier or solid Dunkel Lager, Vollbier. I'm vegan so I'm not interested in food!! (Nankendorf, Hochstahl, Heiligenstadt, Oberleintleiter, Huppendorf, Oberaisfeld, Ahorntal, Hintergereuth, Buchenbach, Leups, Lindenhardt) All in all I'm searching for small, rural, remote, oldfashioned breweries with good Landbier, Lager and old style beers from east Pottenstein to west Forcheim.
