| I will be fortunate enough to visit Annafest for the first time this year. I have a couple of questions: 1) Recommended kellers/beer -- I know that some breweries brew special Annafest brews. Any special recommendations? Here is a list of breweries I found on the web. Wolfshoher and Krug are the only ones I have never tried. * Brauerei Greif, Forchheim * Brauerei Hebendanz, Forchheim * Brauerei Eichhorn, Forchheim * Brauerei Neder, Forchheim * Wolfshöher Privatbrauerei, Neunkirchen am Sand * St.Georgen Bräu, Buttenheim * Löwenbräu, Buttenheim * Tucher Bräu, Nuremburg * Krug Bräu, Breitenlesau 2) Forcheim pubs. I will be staying in Forchheim and will certianly be popping into the 4 breweries in town at some stage. Any other good pubs in F'heim? 3) Neder Schwarz Anna -- I have only had this on draught once. It was sublime. That was in Amberg, SE of Nuremberg. Is Scwarz Anna on draught at the Neder brewery, or at Annafest? Thanks Mike |
