Some buses do go to Herrnsdorf and back. I have personally observed people getting on and off the bus there. It works. The novelty of drinking beer in a place that's been "family run" since the 14th century has its appeal, but there are better beers around. I use "" because I've heard that the place has actually changed hands over the centuries, and the story of its ownership is not necessarily as simple as what "family run" might imply, being passed from parent to child for generations on end. But I don't remember any more than that, so if I'm wrong about it, most deepest of apologies. If it's Kellerseason when you're here, then definitely train and bus to Kreuzberg & Stiebarlimbach instead of Herrnsdorf. But plan for a whole day.
