| My most frequent walk in Bamberg is from Luitpold Str. to Wunderburg (Mahr's). :-) As for the Herrnsdorf to Sambach walk, now that I look more closely at the maps, it seems that Google route is probably longer than necessary by perhaps 0.5 miles. It looks like you can take a short-cut through Herrnsdorf to meet the main road to Sambach, avoiding a going north on the main street and then left towards Sambach. This sounds like a good trip, as long as the weather is nice, and as long as I can make the 11:10 am bus from Bamberg Bahnhof. |
