Tripping to Germany in Sept. 2006

Hello Eric. Fred pipped me to the post about the non availability of rooms at klosterbrau, but as he says there are many other possibilitys to stay at breweries in bamberg. What i will say is that in the past i have used HERTZ car rental in mainland europe and found them to be very good and usually one of the cheapest around. The trip you have planned sounds really good (but a little tiring for an old fart like me!) Just one more point whithout wanting to sound like a killjoy be very carefull about the amount of beer the driver consumes as the drink drive laws in europe are very strict and two beers of say 5% strenght could put a driver over the legal limit .
