Tiefenellern
Tifenellern is about 14 km east of Bamberg. There is a morning bus but the return bus is not direct and takes over 2 hours. Lohndorf (with 2 breweries) is about 2 km west of Tifenellern so a short taxi ride and walk would get you three breweries.
There are no convenient public transportation connections
Getting there by bicycle:
Take the Fränkische Schweiz bikepath east from Bamberg. Teifenellern is about 14 km along the path. There are some moderate climbs on this path.

| Visiting this brewery, we sampled all available beers. The hop pronounced Lager was as dead as a dodo; the Pils was hoppy and bubbly; the Rauchbier was hoppy and very bubbly. Knowing most of the other beers of the area, these ones are less than average. | ||
