| Pellets give you a very consistent hop level in your beer. You know what your Alpha acids will be and the amount of hop flavoring you will get when brewing. I think the pellets are easier to remove after the initial brewing.Plus pellets are just easier to keep around and work with. Fresh hops are great but you really don't know exactly how much you will get from the fresh hops unless you get them tested. |
