| Never quite sure why people rate Faessla so lowly. Ok, the beer is nothing really special but always drinkable. The Schwemme is generally full of characters and very easy to get in a conversation - bit like Schlenkerla really - and the interior rooms are very pleasant. I think that there's something for everyone in Faessla, without it being quite as special as Spezial or Schlenkerla. Wunderburg is a right-off for me since Mahrs started mucking about with the 'U' but Jason is right, it's so easy to take a city bus a few kilometres to, for example, Sonne in Bischnerg, the nearest thing to a country pub on a local bus! |
