| Sounds like a splendid day. What was being poured at Brauerei Martin? Presumably the Spezial (helles lager) and Pils? How often do they bring out the gravity barrel? Even though I generally gravitate towards the less alcoholic styles, I must say I am very curious about their bockbiers, since they brew three of them (e.g., Festbock, Josephibock, and Martinibock), as well as a weizenbock. Isn't their spring bock ("Josephibock") available in mid March? I can't think of any other small country brauerei that produces so many bockbiers! |
