The difference is huge. It forms many of the values that CAMRA were founded upon (though real ale is a different beast). The mere fact that the keg is colder is enough of a reason. Its also gassier. I don't like wasting valuable beer space with gas. Kegging and the addition of co2 is another process the beer has to go through before it ends up in my krug. I'm sure this has been talked to death on this forum but whilst you may not notice the difference I most certainly can :) at least at the brewery you can have keg export or BA lager. As for the export being better well, we all have our opinions. |
