| Just that it's *hard*. My intensive course here at age 39 was much harder than anything I studied in collitch -- chemistry (first year only though) included. Working with 20-somethings here is much easier than with 40-somethings, for example. A lot less repetition for youngsters, since the brain isn't yet hardened up, but still malleable. You should strive to do it though, as working the brain this way is excellent for the health. Just like music is, so they say. (Which I guess has you covered.) Here's the coursebook we used back then, 9 years ago now. But that was in a group of 6 or 8 people, 5 x 45 minute "hours" a day, five days a week. Not sure how it might work as self-study. |
