| One problem is the DB agents sometimes do a fairly hard sell on the card to tourists, not explaining the renewal process or assuming they know already. Those sort of contracts are fairly rare in the US -- the closest being agreeing to an "auto-renewal" by charging your credit card. Not counting Jimbo, I know of at least four other Americans who bought BahnCards at the counter at the suggestion of the agent. |
