Bamberg Bockbieranstiche

Hi, I'm thinking of heading to Bamberg next month to do a Bock tapping or two. According to the list I found online, Faessla is on Thursday 25th and Klosterbrau is on the next day, so seems a good chance to do two different events in a fairly short trip. I've been to Bamberg a few times but never to a bock tapping. What's the deal? Is it a locals affair where I'd be intruding? Is booking required? Is there an ettiquette? Thanks Neil
