What is Kellerbier?

Barry, bear in mind that there is a keller down the road a bit from the Eichhorn brewery that serves their Kellerbier called Kraft Keller. Now I don't know if this keller actually stores the beer underground onsite, I don't know if it's owned by Eichhorn or is independant or what the story is. But I hope to check the place out as well as Eichhorn itself next time around. I've only had Eichhorn's Kellerbier at Stohrenkeller in Bamberg and I quite liked it.
