| Went to Windischeschenbach-Neuhaus for the Zoigl-fest. There were 7 places to drink the beer, the Gasthof Zum Waldnaabtal and 6 (yes six) Zoigl-Stuben. I managed to visit five, Schafferhof, Lingl (will join the schedule next year), Teicher, Bahler and Schoilmichl. And also had a good look at the brewery. (Visited Käck'n in august, while staying at the Gasthof.) Two days later I visited Neuhaus/Pegnitz (in Franconia) to try the beer from the Kommunbrauerei there, it's an amber-coloured Märzen, clear (no haze), and very tasty. Then went on to Windischeschenbach again, this time to visit Wolframstub'n (they brew their own beer) plus two Zoigl-Stuben, Fiedlschneider and Zum Posterer. As I said, Lingl-Zoigl, Burgstrasse 1 in Neuhaus, will join the schedule from january 1. Also, some of the Stuben will open for five days instead of four (friday - tuesday). There were calendars available, but the info is not yet on the website. |
