| Hebendanz have decided to close their pub and turn it into a smoker's club: http://i29.tinypic.com/14mgneb.jpg "Only for members." "We're a smoker's club. Non-members can become members, with a membership fee of 1,10 € for 2008. This goes for NONSMOKERS too." So there it is. They care more about smoking than being open to the PUBlic or the health and comfort of people who would LIKE to be guests, but who don't want to subject themselves to filthy, unhealthy, polluted air. Somewhat ironically, I had to dump out a bottle of their Export Hell last night, not as a symbolic gesture in protest of their closing their pub to people like me, but because it was buttery & sour. (I'll still happily indulge in their Annafestbier though--last year's smash hit!) |
