Nonsmoking in Bamberg

The smoking ban in England is being blamed for a lot of pub closures. Smokers have to go outside in inclement weather if they need a fag. Despite being a non-smoker, I am not totally in support of the ban. Smoke-free areas within a pub would suffice, IMHO. I returned recently from a trip to the Czech republic. Some of the smoky locals bars have a certain "ambience" that should be preserved, if possible. Only my opinion. Mike
