 Murky, bland, unfinished-seeming pale and dark beer typical of modern-era German brewpubs; this one is part of a chain, I think. The kind of beer that makes Widmer Hefeweizen (Oregon) seem complex and interesting in comparison. Lovely brewery kit though, a pity it isn't used to its full potential -- as an ale brewery! Food is standard German Brauhaus, with some fresh things, and lots of stuff from cans, I bet. Still, I do like the *place*. If you're in town, check it out, I guess, but don't expect much.
