 A beautiful spot. Born as a kind of scene inn, Schanzenbräu really has been growing up since. At the moment three different beers are in production: Helles, Schwarzbier and Rotbier. All of them Naturtrüb. Tried the Helles and the red beer yesterday and was instantly convinced to have found the best GHB-beer of the Nürnberg region. What a beautiful, sophisticated beer! Better than both other GHBs and absolutely a must, when you're in Nürnberg for beer reasons.

 Have been there again to try the Schwarzbier. Quite good. Very heavy, very coffeeish, the little sister of guinness. I prefer the Rotbier.
