| The article says he's the head of R&D for Kaspar Schulz, so, yeah, I imagine he got a bit of a discount on that nice new kit! ;) It also says he plans to brew 15 hl two or three times a week. Someone check my math, please: 15 hl == ~330 UK gallons == ~9 UK barrels, right? 15 hl == ~396 US gallons == nearly 13 US barrels, right? This means a Briton would say he's got a ~9 bbl kit, and a Yank would say he's got a ~13 bbl kit, right? I'd like a 1 or 2 hl kit myself. What will the Reinheitsgebot say about his intent to brew international styles, I wonder...? |
