Cafe Abseits is around behind the train station. They usually have beers from some of the smaller breweries in the countryside (on a rotating Beer of the Month basis). A bit out of the way if you are in the Altstadt, but well worth the walk

Sports bar with an very good selection of beers on tap and a good bottle list as well. Opens at 6pm weekdays, 3pm on weekends. Not far from Mahrs and Keesmann.

Wine bar and pub. They usually have a number of interesting beers on draft The selection changes so its worth a stop to check it out. Open 8pm until late.

Spezial Keller 

Oberer Stephansberg 47, Bamberg 96049

Connected by family with the brewery in town, they serve the Spezial Lagerbier (rauchbier) from wooden kegs. Open year round (opens at 3pm) but an absolute must during the warmer months when you can sit outside and get a wonderful view of Bamberg. A bit of a hike up the hill, but that just makes the beer taste better when you get there.

Stöhrenkeller
