Very nice and friendly brewery with typically soft-and-hoppy franconian lagers in the traditional style.

Visited this small brewery yesterday. On tap was Helles Vollbier, Zwicklpils and Dunkles. The dark beer was a little bit too sweet and malty for me, the Vollbier Hell was pleasant with a nice iron aftertaste, the unfiltered Zwicklpils was strong and hoppy. All in all an average franconian brewery, but indeed very friendly people. Extra points for friendliness.

No longer brewing as of 2013. They get their beer from Friedel in Zentbechhofen:
Sehr verehrte Gäste, Anfang des Jahres 2013 haben wir uns schweren Herzens dazu entschlossen, unsere Brauerei aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen still zu legen. Dennoch war und ist es uns wichtig, dass Sie weiterhin unser Bier genießen können. Mit der Brauerei Friedel in Zentbechhofen, haben wir einen Kollegen gefunden, der uns Biere nach unserem Familienrezept braut und für uns abfüllt.
